I gotta hand it to Mark, for opening up the shop, using and letting me use his tools to get me back on the road.
I was hoping putting the original clutch hub back on would fix the problem.
Once everything except the derby were put back on, I kicked it over and tested it on the centerstand. I heeled back the clutch, put it in first, and then stepped on the brake. Prior to this, putting on the brake would kill the engine, this time it didn't. I revved the engine to make sure. Satisfied that all was well, I did a little "Happy Dance" to the amusement of the onlookers.
