Took off about 1:00 PM Thursday from Martin, GON2L for those interested was 22 to Huntingdon, 70 to outside Dixon, 96 to Casa de Carroll. EVLTWN's directions were excellent if I had only packed them in a more accessible location. After driving about 15 miles past the turn, I gave up on trusting my memory, dug them out and backtracked. Met Chilly Willy, and soon Mike in BAMA rolls in. Absolutely amazing the lack of damage to his bike after the post detailing his slide in the rain. His front fender has less of a dent in it than the Whatzit's when I ran it into my lathe table, but the ground off metal under the RF engine guard backs up his tale.

Drank some adult beverages and swapped lies, then #116 chared some tasty stuffed burgers and the lovely Willa whipped up some delicious sides. More liquid, lies and Mojo entertainment until the yawning contest started.

Woke up and we got ready to go to the rally site. Nashville Jeff pulls up and as we're getting ready to head out so does Bear

My first *real* rally ever. We were early and a lot of people were just sitting up but I got the idea, so been there done that. EVLTWN took us on a tour of some of the local twisties and we ended up at a great little BBQ/cafeteria type country store place for lunch.

Was hoping to catch Turbo and Maryann, but had to leave before they arrived. As Chilly quipped as I was strapping gear back on the bike:

"Getting home when you told the wife you said you would... priceless!"
