Guess what? By the weekend the HVACTools gauge had arrived too. I figured I would put it in the freezer compartment, couldn't hurt to keep an eye on that too. I drilled the 2" hole the same way I had the refrigeration compartment, with a bi-metal hole saw. The freezer insulation was dense foam as opposed to the loose fiberglass-type of the refrigerator's door. I took a screwdriver and scooped the remainder of the foam out of the way then drilled a 3/8" hole through the back wall for the capillary.

No cover for this one. Just some RTV silicone and duct taping the tube behind the shelf rail.

But I'm getting ahead of my self. When I took the fender to Gleason it was raining cats and dogs and the wipers on the pickup quit on me 6 times during the trip. So I stopped at the auto parts on the way back and picked up a motor. I put that on first Saturday, took the core back for my money, then headed to KY for cheap cigs and some beer.

While I was at the Wine Cellar, I asked if they kept kegs in stock. To my surprise they did, so I picked up a quarter barrel instead of the 12 pack. That 1/2 keg was chillin' in the fridge while I finished up the thermometers.

So, after running the rider over the lawn for a couple of hours and letting the box get back to temp, I checked all the hose connections, turned on the CO2, adjusted the pressure and tried out my creation.

Yup. Works goooooood.

Bottoms up!
