Total parts cost was only $217.95 with tax and shipping. The 18hp Briggs engine is still in great shape so I just couldn't see buying a new mower for $1400 or more. I need the money for wheels for the bike.
I just cut the shipping box flat and laid the old frame next to the new once I had the transaxle unbolted.
