There's a little dust on the bags, but most of that is shine and reflection. I got the ElectraGlide emblems off and put the DuoGlide ones on, since that's at least what the frame is and the style I'm trying to replicate, disc brakes not withstanding. It's all new hardware since the old had to be drilled off. Rather than re-rivit the new on, I used 6-32 hex bolts and plastic insert locknuts so I could get it off easily the next time I repaint.

BTW, I'm a freak for those locknuts. If the thread is exposed on a bolt on this bike, you can figure I got one on it. Ever since I took that stance I've never lost a bolt on the road. Of course you rubber mounted engine owners might not understand.

Ok, here comes a big question for you folks from me. Since the bike was originally built in 1980, but it's really being pretty much built again, is it a 1980 or a 2000? Of course the title says 1980, but there isn't anything on it from 1980 anymore. Just curious. I thought I had a Harley until I started visiting the RMH VB&G and learned I had a Custom. 20 years ago if they looked like a duck and quacked like a duck they were a duck.
